Nadine Dorries is MP for Mid Bedfordshire and in 2012 appeared on ITV's 'Im A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here'.

The Four Streets is Dorries' debut work of fiction and will be published in hardback and eBook in April 2014. It is a moving and autobiographical trilogy of novels set in 1950s Liverpool about Irish Catholic families struggling against poverty, hardship and abuse.

Piers Blofeld said 'I was thrilled when Rosie rang me up within twenty-four hours of sending the novel out. That kind of enthusiasm from an editor with such an incredible pedigree is rare and I was delighted when HoZ made me an offer which made it impossible for me not to take it off the table.'

Rosie de Courcy said 'I absolutely adored this novel from first word to last. Nadine is one of the most naturally gifted storytellers I have ever come across, with a magical ability to create characters you believe in and a heart-stopping way with words.  I HAD to have The Four Streets on my new list at HoZ.'
